There are many great walks in the area. Sarah and Tom are happy to provide maps and transport, should you want to start or finish a few (or many) miles away from Glenacre. Packed lunches can also be provided at an additional cost. We are happy to provide a basic laundry service, if outdoor clothing requires it. The Borders is also host to a walking festival each year. Horse Riding can be booked for intermediate/experienced riders (one or two hour hacks, dependent on season)
Jedhart (Jedburgh) Callants Festival (last Sunday June until the second Saturday July) is one of many spectacular local festivals in the Borders, where mounted cavalcades have ridden the boundaries of each of the Borders towns for centuries.
